D-Luxe Burger Allergy-Friendly Lunch
After spending time shopping around Disney Springs in Walt Disney World, and working up an appetite, go ahead and treat yourself to a D-Luxe Burger allergy-friendly lunch. Known for their burgers and shakes, you can stop by for a fantastic and juicy burger to fill you up. The exterior of the restaurant gives the appearance of a country store or little cottage, welcoming you inside. From the white picket fence to the tiny windows jutting out from the roof, you feel like as though you have stepped back in time.
The rustic exterior continues inside, where wood beams, tables, chairs, railings, flooring, and walls make you feel right at home. If you are lucky, you can snag this oval booth at the front of the restaurant – it is great for people watching.
The back of the restaurant features a variety of tables – some high-tops with bar stools.
The tables and chairs feature a variety of different types of wood and designs. Pick out your favorite as you sit and wait for your food to arrive.

Our D-Luxe Burger Gluten-Friendly and Keto Lunch Selections
Whether you have food allergies, or on a keto or paleo diet, you will likely be able to find something to eat here at D-Luxe Burger. They have both gluten-free allergy buns as well as their signature lettuce wraps which features an entire small head of lettuce cut in half. After placing your order at the counter, you have a seat and wait for it to arrive in a paper bag.
While waiting, you can head over to the condiment bar to fill up little cups of their many dipping sauces that you can use for your burgers or fries.
Options include:
Garlic Ranch ~ Horseradish ~ Chipotle Mayo ~ Three-Mustard and Honey ~ Buffalo ~ Curry Ketchup
The allergy menu not only features the top 8 allergens, but also lets you know if the items contain sesame, garlic, onions, mushrooms, peppers, or corn. In addition, they are marked yes or no for both vegan and vegetarian options. We do wish they would have included sugar and the type of oils, but kudos for taking their allergy menu beyond the top 8. Unfortunately, all 6 sauces contain soy, talking them immediately off the list for anyone on a paleo or keto diet, or with a soy allergy. Do not worry – the burgers are tasty enough without them. The only ones that are dairy free as well are the Curry Ketchup and Honey Mustard. Truthfully you can pass on all the sauces since they all seem to be rather strong in their respective flavors.
For our D-Luxe Burger allergy-friendly lunch, we both tried the Barbecue Burger, which comes topped with a fried onion ring, smoked gouda, bacon, barbecue sauce, grilled onion, and lettuce. Of course, for both allergy-friendly lunch versions, we left off the fried onion ring. For the keto version, we said no to the barbecue sauce, as well. Had we gone with the paleo option we would have omitted the smoked gouda.
The gluten-friendly bun was pretty good, but as with most gluten-free buns, it will weigh you down quite a bit. My only dismay was that the bun was significantly smaller than the burger, so I had to eat around the sides of the burger to be able not to make a mess. However, that is better than the alternative where you have so much bread and not enough meat. The burgers are a decent size and will fill you up.
For a healthier option, if you are on a keto or paleo diet, you can opt for a lettuce wrap instead. Instead of a traditional wrap of lettuce, they cut an entire small head of lettuce in half.
It is quite a lot of lettuce, and a bit trickier to eat since it is harder to press down like you would a bun. However, you definitely feel healthier when you finish this meal.
One thing to note is that while getting a burger can be a bit pricey, it does not come with any fries. These can be added for an additional cost. A meal here can set you back quite a bit as the adult burgers begin at over $10 each.
As this was our last stop before heading home, we decided to reward ourselves with a small treat – for the sake of reviewing, of course. (We had been pretty good on this trip.) After reading ingredient labels, we tried the non-alcoholic Strawberry and seasonal Orange Cream Shakes. To be honest, the ingredients were not that healthy or allergy friendly. We would have been better off getting a smoothie elsewhere. Neither shake was particularly impressive, and they were a bit too thick for the paper straws provided. Our decision – not worth the cheat. There are so many better ways to ruin your diet if that is what you desire.
Our overall impression with our D-Luxe Burger allergy-friendly lunch – if you are looking for a well-cooked burger that is juicy and tender, D-Luxe Burger is the perfect stop for you. But if you are looking for an amazing meal that is well worth the price, we would recommend one of the other dining options around the Springs.
