Galaxy’s Edge Allergy-Friendly Snacks
When traveling around Batuu at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, there are numerous snacks to munch on while exploring this galaxy far far away. Galaxy’s Edge allergy-friendly snacks are rather limited though but hopefully there are still enough options for people to enjoy.
Starting right when you walk in the main entrance of Galaxy’s Edge over by Big Thunder Mountain, if you head towards the right side, you will walk right past the Milk Stand where you can finally taste Blue Milk and Green Milk. Although you may think these beverages are gluten-free, they are not safe for people with celiac as they contain oats that are not certified gluten-free. Both drinks are dairy-free, and plant-based, which is a nice choice, especially since nobody wants to drink milk in the middle of summer. Both milks are the consistency of a slushy and have the texture of a milkshake blended with an Italian Ice. It is a weird concoction to be sure, and one Star Wars fans will definitely want to try.
The Green Milk is actually more of a yellow color than green. If you smell it, the drink smells as though you were walking through a citrus grove. Tasting it results in a very odd flavor. The best way to describe it is if you combined a bitter orange and sweet lime. Other people described it to me as a grapefruit flavor and a lemon-lime flavor. As you can tell, nobody is really sure other than that it is citrus-flavored. If you want to get the true hermit Luke Skywalker experience go for the Green Milk. One thing you will notice in the ingredient lists below is a lack of artificial food colorings. Way to go, Disney. Unfortunately, the first ingredient is sugar, so these beverages are not for people on a paleo or keto diet.
Current ingredients in the Green Milk include:
Sugar, maltodextrin, coconut oil, rice milk powder (contains rice syrup solids, salt, sunflower oil, oat), stabilizers (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, locust bean gum, guar gum, karaya gum, pectin, cellulose gum, xanthan gum), nonfat dry coconut milk, natural flavor [gum Arabic, medium chain triglycerides, color (turmeric oleoresin, spirulina extract, beta carotene)], citric acid, modified food starch, sodium citrate dihydrate, gum acacia, mono & diglycerides, tricalcium phosphate, sunflower lecithin.
The Blue Milk, on the other hand, is a tropical flavor. Compared to the Green Milk, the Blue tastes much more refreshing. It is much sweeter and tasted like a tropical berry flavor. Most people were saying it tasted like mixed berry or a banana and berry smoothie. Still not loved by most people I spoke to but definitely preferred by everyone who tried both, myself included. The plus side to the Blue Milk is that it will not change the color of your mouth.

Other Galaxy’s Edge Allergy-Friendly Snacks
One of the other Galaxy’s Edge allergy-friendly snacks is the Nuna Turkey Jerky at Ronto Roasters. You do not need to worry though; the jerky is just made from Earth turkeys.
The jerky comes in two flavors, both gluten-friendly, as well as sweet and spicy. The spicy does have a kick to it, but I would not go so far as to call it hot whereas the sweet is quite delicious. It has sort of a teriyaki flavor to it and seemed to be a favorite. If you do get the jerky, you can save it for a little bit later, without it growing harder to eat. It is not easy to get all the ingredient lists, and we will update this blog once they are available. Because the ingredients were not available, we cannot say whether the jerky is paleo or keto friendly.
If you are looking for Galaxy’s Edge allergy-friendly snacks, that is where the list ends. Other snacks across Batuu include the Outpost Popcorn Mix from Kat Saka’s Kettle right next to Ronto Roasters.
Across Galaxy’s Edge, you can also find the unique bottles of Sprite, Coke, and Diet Coke that look like thermal detonators. The photos do not do these bottles justice in just how cool they are. Definitely something you would want to take home with you.
Galaxy’s Edge is full of unique and incredible sights, sounds, and smells not to mention tastes to go with it.
